Tomi did a excellent job setting up our RV with our entire solar rig, explaining in easy detail how the whole set up worked and quickly responded to follow up questions I thought of later down the road. He even assisted without hesitation the next camping season by troubleshooting one of my settings which had changed over the winter causing my batteries to reduce max capacity each time we charged them. We decided to get our rooftop solar power installation done by Alto Solar, after a strong recommendation from a colleague – and also after talking to several other local companies. The year of our solar panel installation, 2022, was a challenging one for solar panel installation because of component availability issues. Throughout the process, however, Tom Allen was always good to deal with. He is very knowledgeable, honest and transparent. He never tried to push us in any particular direction, just offered us component options and a good appraisal of the pros and cons. He responded to email and phone queries promptly. His installation team was polite and competent, and work occurred on time. The cost was competitive with other companies. Our system [11.57 kW] system was officially tied into the grid in October 2022. I am still looking forward to our first summer of operation, but we seem on track to meet the expected production of about 12.5 MWh per year. Apart from the satisfaction of producing green energy, rooftop solar is a good long-term investment, and I highly recommend Alto Solar for the installation.
