The app wouldn't accept any of my 3 credit cards and gave up after 40mins and having an unsuccessful resolution with phone support. I deleted and uninstalled the app. I won't stay at a hotel with these again. To any hotel providers that really want to charge customers. Please go with FLO, chargepoint or switch. Regardless I will still go for hotels that offer free charging when available. Do check play store reviews as well. Currenttly 1.4/5

At one of their chargers - working ok. Needed to contact support, which was tricky as the number couldn't be found on the app - however they contacted me after an initial Google review, which was impressive. Turns out the support number is only posted at the site (not currently in the app). Charging requires the app, plus they pull money from your credit card in advance (which means there is always unspent money out there unless you take the time to request it back). App itself took a while to get going - would be nice to have a non-app charging capability.

I am a frequent charger with AmbuEnergy in Ottawa. When customer service is needed (rare event) I always get a quick reply. Chargers work great. I am drawing 40 Amps on a level 2 and no issue. I go to work and I get a notification by text and email that my car is charged and a total for the charge.

Not sure what the malfunction is with everyone else but I had a good experience and would recommend AmbuEnergy to my mom. I downloaded the app on my Android without having a meltdown, started a charge on my car with no problems and watched the progress on the app without incident. It was slower than the rapid chargers but the 24 KWHs I got over the 3 hours was $5 cheaper than the rapid charging I usually use for a comparable 24 KWHs. When I have the time, I'll be using AmbuEnergy stations.

The DC fast chargers supported by this App are an absolute joke! Not only is the App a disaster, the chargers barely work, and I had to hop between multiple units like a fool before the one that originally failed decided to cooperate. Their entire operation feels like a scam, designed to squeeze every penny out of customers while delivering a garbage experience. $40 for 48kWh of power at half the speed they advertise? Talk about getting mugged in broad daylight. These clowns couldn’t care less about their customers - stay far away unless you enjoy wasting your time and money.
