First class! Oli was with us in good time, he did a great job fixing our bathroom light and conservatory lights and advised us on which bulbs would be the most efficient. I also rang oli from B & Q for advice of which he was only pleased to do. I would recommend and definitely use in the future.

We have used Rupert and his team on numerous jobs now and have a fantastic working relationship. His and his teams fastidious attention to detail is second to none. I can not recommend them highly enough. We look forward to completing more jobs with them over the coming years👍👍

We contacted Rupert from bolt electrical back in August to report a warranty claim. All our JCC down lights had blown within one month of each other. After a lot of chasing, 2-3 months later we were told “bolt electrical will be booking this warranty job in early November” (Bearing in mind it’s now winter and gets dark very early, we had no lights in our kitchen). We sent an email to say what days/times would suit us, but never got a response... We made phone calls and sent txt messages, but again no response! Eventually we got through to Rupert and asked when they are coming out and they told us: “We thought you were local and we were only booking in local jobs” (We live 25 minutes away from bolt electrical) We were told they would be in contact to arrange another day.... Again we contacted them to ask what was happening with our lights? We were told all sorts about there is an ongoing issue with these lights, the wholesalers doesn’t supply them anymore, we struggle to claim back against JCC etc... I told bolt electrical that I just want my lights and that I’m happy to install them myself as it’s getting ridiculous not having any lights in our kitchen (well over 4 months now)!!! We arranged that I would take down all the old fittings as Rupert would not have time and that he would just drop off the new lights and take the old ones away, leaving me to install the new lights. Rupert arrived 30 minutes later than the time we had arranged and on receiving the new downlighters I noticed they were white and our old fittings were stainless steel. Rupert’s response to this was just “well that’s what they have sent as a replacement”. To sum up my experience with bolt electrical, I would say they are absolutely useless, they have no concept of customer service and are happy to waste your time! I certainly could NOT recommend them to anybody. It amazes me how people like this still run a “business” Save yourself a lot of time, money and stress and instruct a component person to carry out the work in your property.
