New Dawn Solar LTD – Solar Installation in UK

I had the opportunity to get quotes from several local and national companies supplying and fitting solar panels, Batteries and car chargers. In the end we opted for New Dawn Solar due to the personal touch and regular communications between Daniel, Mel and the team. The first visit was great with no upselling at all and time taken to explain the process and what our needs maybe for now and the future. The follow up pack with breakdown of costs was easy to read and understand including the payment structure and payback calculations. The second site visit was more detailed with roof surveys in person and via drones. days later the scaffolding was erected and the next day two engineers fitted 14 solar panels, A sigenergy Battery and a Car charger all in one day with meticulous care. I can't fault New Dawn and the team for anything great customer service and I truly highly recommend the team if you're looking to get solar panels or batteries fitted.

We sought 3 quotations for solar panels. New dawn were the only company where someone was willing to visit our hosue and discuss the installation. The work was carried out with a short lead time and the installers were tidy, courteous and knowledgable. New Dawn remained contactable and helpful after installation, particularly where we experienced a problem with the hardware/app from Foxess who are remote and difficult to contact from an end user point of view. Would definately recommend New Dawn. The system is excellent.

It's been 3 months since the installation took place and i wanted to wait to see if there were any post installation issues before writing a review. Daniel and the team were fantastic throughout the process. 1. Daniel firstly provided a quote using an online tool to give me a ball park figure and also provided information related to generation expectations, payback and annual savings. 2. The next steps was to do a home survey and get up on the roof (our roof is accessible due to a flat roof extension) and measure up the roof to ensure the online tool was correct. In my case we could fit bigger panels which was handy. We also decided to put some on the flat roof giving us 3 x roof sections covered in panels. We also talked through battery options and locations of inverter and battery etc... 3. Next step was to formalise the quote and move to the next stage (essentially updating step one with the correct numbers). 4. I paid the deposit (20 or 25% from memory). I was allowed to do this on a credit card which also then gave me additional protection should there have been any issues down the road which was reassuring. 5. Next step was to arrange an install date, now the installation was not carried out by New Dawn Solar, instead it was carried out by a third party, but i was able to research the company to ensure i was happy with them. 6. Day of installation arrives (no scaffolding for me) and it was done efficiently and the team were polite and efficient. It was completed within the day and to a high standard. 7. Once the install takes place i pay the balance and a couple of weeks later receive my handover pack which i can then use to request an export tariff from my energy provider. 8. I reached out to Dan with a query related to a heat pump install that took place after the solar install and whilst i managed to resolve the issue myself, Dan was very prompt in responding and offered to arrange a video call to better understand the issue. Whilst this wasn't needed it was good to know the after sales support is there.
